How do I register in and pay for courses when I am receiving student financial assistance? : Current Student Non-Program

If you are a full-time funded student, you are registered in courses by your financial aid advisor in accordance with the courses you have submitted on your loan study plan. Course registrations are finalized once AU receives confirmation that your funding has been approved or payment for your courses has been made.

Funding approval or tuition payment must be received by the first day of the month prior to the anticipated start date of your studies. In most cases, your tuition will be deducted from your financial assistance.

In some cases, a post-secondary institution is not allowed to deduct tuition from your financial assistance, and you are required to pay your tuition in advance of your start date. You may also want to pay for your tuition in advance and use your financial assistance as a form of reimbursement. Please contact your Student Awards & Financial Aid Advisor for more information on how you can make a tuition payment.
