The Centre for World Indigenous Knowledge and Research is responsible for the administrative and academic needs of Indigenous students. Our commitment is to give assistance to Aboriginal/Indigenous students where help may be needed. The all-Indigenous centre develops and implements strategies in the delivery of specific services to Indigenous students, nations, communities, and organizations.
If you are an Aboriginal/Indigenous student, the centre will offer you encouragement, guidance, and help in finding your way through the university system. Our objective is to assist and work closely with you in your goal of obtaining a quality education. We emphasize the Indigenous student's success as an important aspect of our Centre. We would like to see Indigenous students achieve their goals with Athabasca University.
The courses from Athabasca University can be offered to Aboriginal/Indigenous students who may be attending other universities or post-secondary institutions across Canada or worldwide.
