Open Admission : Prospective Students - Program

AU's open admission policy allows anyone 16 years of age or older to gain admission to the University, regardless of previous educational experience, with or without a high school diploma. Applicants do not have to enroll in a program to attend AU.

While most undergraduate programs do not have formal admission requirements, some require applicants to have previous secondary or post-secondary education. For example, our post-diploma programs require applicants to hold an appropriate post-secondary diploma for admission, and our nursing baccalaureate degrees have previous secondary and post-secondary education admission requirements.

For further information on AU undergraduate program admission policy, please visit our Undergraduate Programs page and click on the link to the specific program of interest.
